Self Care Tip: Self Care Means Giving Yourself Permission to Pause.

Welcome Back! If you are new, Welcome. As we get ready for Mental Health Awareness Month I am writing this blog as a reminder that it is okay to “Give Yourself Permission to Pause.” As part of self care remember to take a break from everything and know that its okay. You don’t need to worry about putting others ahead of yourself all the time. You have to learn to take care of yourself and your life. You cannot neglect your own self care and needs. It is not healthy mentally or physically to put others ahead of your own needs all the time.

Now, I am not saying ignore people all together. What I am saying is know when to pause. If you never put yourself first then you will never be able to properly take care of yourself. Its okay to say no. No is not a bad word. It just means you are setting limits for yourself and that’s okay.
