Self Care Tip: Write A Letter To The Person(s) That Have Hurt You.

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back to my blog. If you are new, welcome. Today we are going to talk about Writing A Letter To The Person(s) That Have Hurt You and why this is good for self care. Now you are probably thinking to yourself that there is no way this is good for self care. Let me stop you right there. It is absolutely important that you focus on this.

When you write a letter to those that have hurt you in anyway, it is allowing yourself to heal from your trauma or pain. Think of it this way, it is a way of saying good bye to the past and opening the door for the future. I am not saying this will cure you if you have PTSD. What I am saying is that it will help you to heal.

As someone who has personally done this, I can tell you it has helped. It allowed me to let go of all the pain and hurt that I had experienced by those who have hurt me. It is not about letting them win, in fact they don’t know I ever wrote about them. As far as they know, I have never forgiven them. It will forever remain that way since I no longer speak to them. I simply did it for me.

If you are looking for guidance to heal reach out to me and let’s talk. The sooner you start the easier it will be to heal. What is holding you back?
