The purpose of the mood journal is to write all of your thoughts that you are having whether it is negative or positive. Now you are probably thinking to yourself why in the world would she consider this self-care? The answer is simple. As part of your self-care it is important to journal your thoughts. It will help you to see how you are feeling once you come out of a situation or its a great reminder of happy memories.

Remember that journaling is only for you so if you do not have any other way to release your frustration this would be a great thing to do. Sometimes our only support system is our journals. Do not be afraid to be yourself and no matter what write down your thoughts.
